AI-first content models, designed by someone who runs one
I help fintech and financial services teams design and build AI-native content systems: the governance, workflows and pipelines that let a small team publish at scale without losing editorial control. Reference implementation is the system already publishing at Pound Sterling Live every day, and ongoing consultancy work to shape a content function at a London-based fintech.
Who you're working with
A content specialist and editor with experience in developing AI-native content operating models for fintech and financial institutions.
Eighteen years in UK financial publishing covering FX, fixed income and macroeconomics. Founding editor of Pound Sterling Live, an IPSO-regulated publication that scaled to a peak of 1.2 million monthly readers. Today, its newsroom runs on a Claude Code content workflow I designed, built and govern. Based in Surrey, I work with London-based fintech and financial services teams in person and remotely.
Services
AI content consulting for fintech and financial services
Every engagement is scoped according to a defined deliverable, be it a working system or a decision-ready design that can be passed onto your developers.
AI content operating model design
A complete blueprint for how your content function should run with AI in the loop, tailored to your team, regulatory context and commercial goals.
- Editorial governance and quality-control architecture
- Human and AI role definitions across the workflow
- Tooling, cost and risk assessment
Claude Code editorial workflow build
Hands-on implementation of a production content workflow: rulebooks, evidence governance, mechanical linting and CMS publishing pipelines. Delivery flexes to your setup: I can build it end to end, hand over a complete build-ready specification, or work alongside your development team, internal or external.
- House style codified as enforceable, versioned rules
- Scheduled generation with source-traceable claims
- API publishing into your existing CMS
Editorial governance & house-style systems
For teams already using AI but struggling with consistency, accuracy or compliance exposure: a governance layer that makes output trustworthy.
- Style rulebooks with banned-construction enforcement
- Attribution and sourcing standards
- Audit trails suitable for regulated environments
Content strategy for fintech & financial publishers
Positioning, SEO and editorial strategy from a publisher who has grown, defended and repositioned an audience through Google's algorithm era.
- Search strategy for the AI-answer landscape
- E-E-A-T and trust architecture for financial content
- Commercial content funnels that respect editorial integrity
How engagements run
Four stages, one deliverable
01 · DISCOVERY
Understand the operation
Your team, content goals, regulatory perimeter and current workflow, mapped in the first week.
02 · DESIGN
Blueprint the model
The operating model on paper: roles, rules, tooling and governance, reviewed with your stakeholders.
03 · BUILD
Implement the system
Working rulebooks, workflows and pipelines in your environment, tested against real content.
04 · HANDOVER
Transfer ownership
Documentation and training so your team runs and evolves the system without dependency on me.
Scope and fees: engagements are quoted as fixed-fee projects after a short discovery call, typically running two to eight weeks depending on whether the scope is design only or design and build.
Full-time roles
Also open to the right senior role

Alongside consulting, I am open to senior in-house positions in fintech, payments and financial services where the brief is to build a content function that performs commercially and an AI-native operating model that scales it.
- Eighteen years of UK financial publishing across FX, fixed income and macro
- Founder-operator experience: audience, revenue and infrastructure, not just editorial
- A production AI content system as a live, inspectable reference
